Style It Saturday With Michael Kors: It’s Spring?

This pandemic has everyone confused about what day it is. But Mother Nature seems to be confused about the season.

It’s the day before Easter and it’s COLD!! My grandparents called it ‘Dogwood Winter’ because we always have a cold snap when the dogwoods bloom.

This outfit, put together by my favorite SA Kristin, is based around the perfect transitional piece.

This Floral Georgette Dress can be belted or worn loose for a Boho vibe.

Pair it with boots, sandals or wedges to change the look to suit the season.

Kristin paired it with the Ripley Leather Wedge Sandal in the Color ‘Luggage’.

The gold accents and ankle strap are the perfect combination of dressy and casual.

My favorite bag, Cece, makes another appearance.

The Pink Grapefruit brings out the coral in the dress and gives the outfit a pop of spring color!

Kendra Scott: Coming Full Circle

I recently hosted an event at Kendra Scott to benefit a Non Profit I work with.

It was surreal. Because I had come full circle.

My very first Blog, in October 2015, was about a Kendra Scott Event I had attended.

It was a Color Bar Party hosted by fellow blogger, Jen Grano, who had helped me get my own blog going.

I have been working with Black Fathers Rock and thought, hey, let’s get the ladies involved!!!

Since Kendra Scott lets you choose a nonprofit for their Gives Back events I knew this would be a perfect way to raise money while enjoying some incredible jewelry.

A lot has changed with Kendra Scott since my last blog. They’ve introduced some home decor and even added fine jewelry.

Their fine jewelry line comes in rose, white or yellow gold and diamonds!

But they still have their everyday favorites, with new designs coming out every season.

And they still have their fun color bar where you can choose your own design and they build it right on the spot!

We sipped, we shopped, and supported a great cause!

From attending my first event to hosting my own, I see how far I’ve come.

Style It Saturday With Michael Kors: Easter at Home

This year there will be no Easter Services to dress up for, no egg hunts, no big family dinners.

But I believe we should still celebrate. Honor the true meaning of Easter. Aka Resurrection Sunday.

Because we WILL come back from all this madness.
